This is why students say to the teacher, “I can’t do math” or the more piecing comment “I hate math.” Even better is the infamous statement by students and parents is that “This teacher cannot teach math, I just don’t get what they are saying.” Why do they make these statements?

Every person prefers different learning styles and techniques. Everyone have multiple learning styles and one will be a dominant learning styles. The use of multiple learning styles and multiple intelligences is a relatively new concept. But it is also important to understand. If one knows what their relative learning styles are and the relative weaknesses then one can plan to exercise the brain to improve the relative skills. But, if this is directed towards mathematics then it needs to be fun.
