Algebra 1 Online
Algebra 1 is the first key foundational course in mathematics. Typically, students take and pass this course in the 9th grade of high school even though they should take and pass this course in the 8th grade. It is a very important course of study. Where is the free online help?
Algebra 1 Online – Help from their Textbook Web Resources
The Prentice Hall textbook has online web resources that provide an online textbook, online tutoring videos, chapter tests, lesson quizzes, vocabulary puzzles, skills handbook, extra help resources, and extra practice for each chapter in the book.
The textbook has a link in every lesson of the textbook. This link provides a link to an online homework video lesson that covers every example in the textbook. If students do not have an internet connection, but do have a working computer, then they can check out the software from their local school textbook room. These same resources are available online. If a student goes to school, listens to the lectures, and then supplements their study with these online and offline resources, it will be impossible not to pass Algebra 1.
Example 2 – www.brightstorm.com
This web source helps not only Algebra 1, but also every course of major importance at the secondary level. It covers every important core mathematics course, such as, algebra 1, algebra 2, trigonometry, geometry, and calculus. This free website aligns with any textbook. Students can click a topic and view a tutorial by a teacher on any key standard.
Example 3 – www.khanacademy.com
The Khan Academy provides a connection to many high school and college courses. It contains videos for tutoring and a practice module that will diagnose and examine deficiencies that may have not been discovered by parents or teachers.
